ENTER TO WIN OUR 2017 "CITIZEN SCIENTIST OF THE YEAR" AWARD

SWCHR is proud to announce its first-ever Citizen Scientist of the Year Award! Entrants must be current members of SWCHR. Additional consideration will be given to those entrants who were also 2017 members. Entries should be emailed to info@southwesternherp.com.

- Since this is the inaugural year for this award, criteria are fairly open-ended. Entrants must explain why they are deserving of this award, to include listing achievements from January 1st through December 31st 2017. Examples include participation in bio-blitzes and other herp-related surveys and field work, contributions to herp databases (e.g. HerpMapper, NAHERP, iNaturalist, etc.), articles/ papers published, collaboration with academic researchers, etc.

- Deadline for submissions is Friday, March 2nd.

- Winner will be announced no later than Friday, March 23rd.

- Winner will receive $100 cash prize.
