Distribution:  In our region, this species occurs in east and southeast Texas and southward along the Texas Gulf Coast to Kleberg County. There are also somewhat isolated records of this species in both Bexar and Cameron Counties.

Legal Status:  Hyla squirella has no protected status in our region.
