Distribution:  This subspecies of Gilbert's Skink occurs only in western Arizona where it is confined to scattered spotty populations in La Paz, Maricopa, Mohave, and Yavapai Counties.

Legal Status:  Plestiodon gilberti arizonensis has no protected status.
