The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research has named Tom Lott to be the moderator of the SWCHR Herpetological Taxonomy Forum. Tom is a retired school teacher, herpetologist and naturalist from Pleasanton, Texas. He has been herping for more than 50 years and has a strong interest in the ever-changing taxonomy of our herpetofauna. One of Tom's current projects is tracking the range expansion of the Rio Grande Chirping Frog (Syrrhophus cystignathoides campi) across Texas.
If you have an interest in taxonomic changes relating to the herpetofauna of the American Southwest, I encourage you to log-in and take an active part in the online community that Tom will be building.
