The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Will Wells' photograph of an Eastern Collared Lizard (Crotaphytus collaris) has been selected as our Photo of the Month for March, 2009. You may click here to view his winning image which was taken in the Petrified Forest National Park of Arizona.
Our congratulations to Will on his winning photo for the month of March. Having one of his images selected this year as a Photo of the Month earns him a cash award of $25.00 and automatically qualifies him as a nominee in the competition for our 2009 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be selected and awarded in February of 2010. The Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography consist of a larger cash award and a plaque mounted certificate.
