The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Phil Stone's photograph of a Great Basin Spadefoot (Spea intermontana) taken in Lyon County, Nevada has been selected as our Photo of the Month for April, 2010. You may click here to view his winning image.
Our congratulations to Phil for having the winning photo for the month of April. This is his second win so far this year.
Having one of his images selected during the year as a Photo of the Month earns him a cash award of $25.00 and automatically qualifies him as a nominee in the competition for our 2010 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be selected and awarded in February of 2011. The Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography consist of a larger cash award and a plaque mounted certificate.
