SWCHR ANNOUNCES PHOTO OF THE MONTH WINNER FOR  JULY, 2008

The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Patrick H. Briggs' image of a beautiful Coral-bellied Ring-necked Snake taken in the Sequoia National Park in Tulare County, California has been selected as our Photo of the Month for July, 2008. Our congratulations to Patrick on his winning photograph for the month of July. Having an image twice this year as a Photo of the Month has just doubled his odds in the competition for our 2008 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be presented in February of 2009. The Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography consist of a cash award and a plaque mounted certificate.
