SWCHR ANNOUNCES PHOTO OF THE MONTH WINNER FOR  DECEMBER, 2008

The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that John Williams' image of a Tan Racer (Coluber constrictor etheridgei) taken in Newton County, Texas has been selected as our Photo of the Month for December, 2008. Our congratulations to John on his winning photograph for the month of December. Having one of his images selected this year as a Photo of the Month also automatically qualifies him as a nominee in the competition for our 2008 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be selected and awarded in February of 2009. The annual Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography consist of a cash award and a plaque mounted certificate.
