The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Matt Hollanders' outstanding photograph of a Rio Grande Leopard Frog (Lithobates berlandieri) taken in Bandera County, Texas has been selected as our Photo of the Month for December, 2010. Our congratulations to Matt for having the winning Photo of the Month for December. This is his third Photo of the Month win for 2010.
Having one of his images selected during the year as a Photo of the Month earns him a cash award of $25.00 and automatically qualifies him as a nominee in the competition for our 2010 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be selected and awarded in February of 2011. The Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography consist of a larger cash award and a plaque mounted certificate.
