SWCHR ANNOUNCES PHOTO OF THE MONTH WINNER FOR MARCH, 2007

The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Michael Price's photograph of a Ground Snake  (Sonora semiannulata semiannulata)  from Big  Hatchet Peak in Hidalgo Co., New Mexico has been selected as our first Photo of the Month for March, 2007. His winning image captured the beauty of this small, secretive species that we as herpetologists and herpetoculturists often overlook.  Michael is the Executive Director of the San Angelo (Texas) Nature Center and also serves as the President of the West Texas Herpetological Society.  Our congratulations to Michael.
