The Southwestern Center for Herpetological Research (SWCHR) is pleased to announce that Will Wells' photograph of a Mexican Rosy Boa (Lichanura trivirgata trivirgata) taken in Maricopa County, Arizona has been selected by our members as our Photo of the Month for November, 2011. Our congratulations to Will for having his sixth winning Photo of the Month so far during 2011.
Having just one of his images selected during the year as a Photo of the Month earns Will a cash award of $25.00 and automatically qualifies him as a nominee in the competition for our 2011 Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography which will be selected and awarded in February of 2012. The Award for Excellence in Herpetological Photography consist of a larger cash award, and a plaque mounted certificate.
