Distribution:  In our region, this species occurs only in southeastern Arizona, southwestern New Mexico, and in the Franklin Mountains of El Paso County, Texas.

Legal Status:  The Banded Bock Rattlesnake is a protected species in Arizona. The species is not protected in either Texas or New Mexico.
