Distribution: In our region, this species occurs throughout southcentral Texas, westward through the Trans-Pecos Region and into southeastern New Mexico.
Legal Status: Crotalus lepidus lepidus is listed as a Threatened Species in New Mexico. In Texas the species has no protected status.
