Distribution:  In our region, Crotalus molossus molossus occurs throughout the central and Trans-Pecos regions of Texas and across the southern and central portions of New Mexico and Arizona.

Legal Status:  This species does not have protected status in any of the states where it occurs. Arizona does have a bag limit of 4 animals per year or in possession.
