Distribution: In our region, this species occurs in southwestern New Mexico, northward throughout much of Arizona and into central Utah and the south and eastern portions of Nevada.Legal Status: The Sonoran Mountain Kingsnake is a protected species in Utah and Nevada. The species is not protected in Arizona and New Mexico.
