Distribution: In our region, this species occurs throughout western Arizona, southern California, southeastern Nevada, and in extreme southwestern Utah.
Legal Status: The Southwestern Speckled Rattlesnake is listed as a Species of Concern by the state of Utah. The species is not protected in any of the other states where it occurs in our region.
