DISTRIBUTION: In our region, Anaxyrus b. boreas occurs in extreme northern California, throughout Nevada and the western 2/3 of Utah. There is also an isolated population in extreme northern New Mexico.
LEGAL STATUS: Anaxyrus b. boreas is protected and listed as Endangered in the state of New Mexico.
