Crotalus willardi obscurus

 

DISTRIBUTION: In our region, Crotalus w. obscurus occurs only from Hidalgo County in Southwestern New Mexico and from the Peloncillo Mountains of Cochise County in the southeastern corner of Arizona.

LEGAL STATUS: Crotalus w. obscurus is protected as a Threatened Species by Federal law and is also listed as an Endangered Species by the State of New Mexico. It is also protected by the State of Arizona.
