> Contributions to herp databases such as HerpMapper, NAHerp or iNaturalist
> The authoring of public herp related articles or papers
> Collaboration with academic researchers

The entry deadline is in the spring of the year following the activities, and is announced in the quarterly SWCHR Bulletin, the monthly SWCHR News and here on the SWCHR Website.

The Winner in the Adult category is awarded a $100 cash prize.

The Winner in the Junior category (under 18 years of age) is awarded a $50 cash prize

The winners are selected by the SWCHR Board of Directors and announced in the SWCHR News publication and here on the SWCHR Website.
