DISTRIBUTION: In our region, Agkistrodon c. laticinctus occurs throughout central and northcentral Texas extending southward to the Texas coast. Along the eastern edge of its range this species intergrades with the Southern Copperhead. Along the western edge of its range it intergrades with the Trans-Pecos Copperhead.
