DISTRIBUTION: In our region, Bufo (Anaxyrus) w. australis occurs in the western Trans-Pecos region of Texas, southern and eastern New Mexico and southeastern Arizona.

Species: woodhousii, honors Samuel W. Woodhouse
Subspecies: australis – Latin = southern — ref. southern Arizona distribution
